SARMs - What are They? What is their purpose?

What is a SARM?

SARMs a.k.a. Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators are considered the safer alternative to steroids/PHs with no risk of potential side effects compared to their anabolic steroid/pro-hormone counterpart.

SARMS contain androgens which are a special kind of hormone that act as ligands (a molecule linked to another molecule) that connect to cellular androgen receptors (AR). This connection to the AR is what gives all pro-hormones and steroids their muscle growth properties.

A SARM can both obstruct or fuel similar hormone receptors in different conditions. If it can obstruct or fuel a receptor it has the ability to replicate the important effects in one tissue and concurrently reduce the adverse effects of the natural or synthetic steroidal hormones in other tissues.

How do SARMs work?

The older we get, the more our endurance, power and skeletal muscle mass deteriorates as a result of the loss of type 2 muscle fibres. This deterioration hinders athletic ability. With SARMS, skeletal muscle mass and strength in androgen-deficient people can be enhanced.

SARMs have been shown to produce dose-dependent improvements in bone mineral density and enhanced strength whilst supporting the ability to decrease body fat and increase lean body mass.

SARMS link to the same receptors that steroids would connect to, but minus the drawbacks and side effects of traditional steroids and pro-hormones. This is a fresh start in the advancement of muscle pharmacology as SARMS can help enhance muscle mass, while helping you reduce body fat and boost athletic performance beyond your imagination.

Which SARM is the best?

There are a number of SARMS, all of which have their unique benefits. To help you narrow down your choose of SARM, see below the key benefits for those we currently stock under the German Pharmaceuticals brand.
